To begin, I opted for the halloumi on bread with rocket salad, which arrived well-presented and was as delicious as it looked. For my main course I chose the rib-eye steak from the grill, which was flavoursome, tender and cooked to perfection. My companion devoured the melted goat's cheese starter, followed by one of the chef's specialities, a melt-in-the-mouth lamb dish. For dessert I thoroughly recommend the chocolate fondant with Baileys ice cream - the fondant was rich and decadent, and the ice cream provided a creamy accompaniment.
