  • If you only have 3 slots, remove clearance. I manually cast the rest of the buffs as survivalbuffs. Plus, those buffs have long duration so I think it's a waste to put them on auto skill slots as they're only activated every 30/120 seconds or even 5 mins.

1. Find one of the three Socketing Equip NPCs below.
For Socketing: Weapon, Offhand, and Armor

2. You will need 10 pieces of the same equipment that you are going to socket.
The equipment material must have no refinement in it. The item that you want to add socket to can have refinement to it, but the 10 equipment materials must have none.
You can do your research and hunt the necessary materials to craft the equipment.

This is why I mentioned that you need a lot of zennies if you don't have the Time and Patience.

3. Equip the item that you wish to add socket to.
4. Talk to the NPC and pay the necessary fee (aside from the 10 pieces of the same equipment)

I haven't tried adding socket to all but here's the cost of those that I have tried.
  • Weapon = 10,000z
  • Armor = 50,000z
  • Boots = 50,000z
  • Accessory = 100,000z
5. Done. You will received your socketed item afterwards. Its 100% success rate.
Important Matters to Know
  • Equipment Upgrade will be retained.
  • Equipment Enchantment will be retained.
  • Equipment Enhancement will be retained.
  • Equipment Refinement will be retained.
  • Upgrading your equipment to its final form WILL remove the socket.
    • If I upgrade that Mage Coat III to a Robe of Casting, I will lose the socket.
    • Make sure you are going to add socket to the final form of the equipment (if you wish to achieve its final form)
    • I added socket to my Mage Coat since I consider it as its final form. (I wont be able to equip it if I upgrade it to Robe of Casting)
